Cherry Studio

How to fix Cherry Studio reporting Model Not Found or an unknown model

Model Not Found means the requested model ID is not in the list AI Code With offers, or was mistyped. It is usually solved by entering the exact Model ID from the integration page.

Start with these checks

The requested model ID does not match what AI Code With offers.

  • Cherry Studio reports Model Not Found or an unknown model.
  • The Model ID was typed incorrectly or with extra spaces
  • Open the AI Code With provider in Cherry Studio Settings โ†’ Model Services
model not found

01

Check the Model ID

The Model ID must be exactly one AI Code With offers. Copy the ID from this page (e.g. deepseek-v4-flash) instead of typing it by hand, and avoid extra spaces.

02

Add the correct model

In the AI Code With provider settings, click + and paste the exact Model ID, then save. Prefer "Get model list" when it returns models.

  1. 1Open the AI Code With provider in Cherry Studio Settings โ†’ Model Services
  2. 2Check the Model ID list and use the exact IDs from this page (e.g. deepseek-v4-flash)

03

Check access and verify

If the model ID is correct but the error persists, check whether the current API key can access that model. After the right model is added, a normal reply means the setup is complete.

  1. 1Check the Model ID list and use the exact IDs from this page (e.g. deepseek-v4-flash)
  2. 2Confirm the current key can access that model
